Task #3: INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO GET TO FISHERMANS' WARF PIER 39

You will start from Plaza de Cibeles next Thursday 12th June at 16:00. 

You have to be sure of taking a valid passport, some money and as little luggage as you can in a hand luggage, because check your luggage will produce delays in the trip.

Firts, you have to take a car to the airport Madrid Barajas. If the traffic is not too dense that would take 13 minutes. But do not worry, you have plenty of time for this stage of the trip.

Once in the airport you must go to terminal 1 to the stand of Aeromexico. There you will check in your trip to Ciudad de Mexico. The flight has the number IB6409 and departs at 23:40, therefore you have time to rest and doing some shopping.


Remember that you do not need a visa to enter in Mexico from Spain, but you will need the ESTA to enter in the USA. This visa can be solicited via web and it is transmitted in only one hour if you pay for the urgent way. These hours are a good opportunity to solicitate it and check that all the documents are in order.

After taking the plane to Mexico, you will arrive to the airport Juarez International on 13th at 04:35 am. Now it is time to hurry, because next plane to San Francisco with United Airlines (UA820) will depart at 06:05 am. It that hour and a half you have to cross customs and go to the door of the new flight. Please have your passport and the ESTA prepared to board the plane.


After around 5 hours you will arrive to San Francisco at 09:04. Then, you will have to cross customs again and run to the airport’s gates. It is a good idea if you employ the time that you are queuing in the customs to book an Uber to Fishermans' Warf Pier 39. 

If you are lucky with traffic, the ride to the pier will take you around 25 minutes. Taking in account the time to cross customs, may be you can be standing in front of the sea before the clock strikes 10 o'clock.

Task #5 What I like best about my town

My hometown is Noja, a village near to the sea in the Spanish northern region of Cantabria. Although Noja has 2500 inhabitants, it is not a small town. Its stunning beaches make it a successful touristic location. But my favorite part of my hometown are not the beaches, which always are crowded in summer. The best about Noja is the narrow path that communicates the beaches over the cliffs. We call it “El Camino de la Costa”. This path is surrounded by trees and nature, and you can walk it feeling the sea. It also hides several small coves that appear in low tide. It is the place you love to go if you are tired of people in summer.
